Jane Cable transitioned from this life on January 19, 2020.
She was a loving and loved daughter, sister, niece, cousin, wife, aunt, mother and friend. Born in Greensboro, NC on December 6, 1934, she married Lawrence E. Cable in 1953. As the spouse of a Kraft Foods salesman/executive, she then lived in the metro areas of Norfolk, VA, Dallas, TX, New Orleans, LA, Atlanta GA, Chicago, IL and Charlotte, NC; retiring in Spring Hill, FL for 10 years before settling in Huntsville, AL.
She made friends easily and had been keeping in touch with numerous former neighbors and church members up until the final days of her life. She is missed by her current neighbors in the Mt Carmel subdivision and at Epworth United Methodist Church, among many others.
She is survived by her husband Lawrence and son Richard in Huntsville AL, her son David in Roswell GA and her brother Gerald Coble, in Greenwich NY.
A life celebration will be held at her home, in her backyard garden, at a time and date to be announced later.
