Melinda Guffey , 44, of Somerville, passed away Wednesday.
Mrs. Guffey was a devoted mother and grandmother who devoted her life to her family.
She was preceded in death by father, Franklin Robinson; mother, Florida Robinson.
Surviving are husband, Alva Guffey; sons, George (Katie) Guffey, and Dustin (Kayla) Steadham; daughters, Jessica (Kenneth) Steadham, Marcie Guffey, Emily Guffey, and FrankieJo Guffey; 16 grandchildren; brother, Brian (Karen) Robinson; sisters, Pamela Bice, and Barbara Wright.
Visitation will be Saturday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home, Sunday at 1:00 PM with Rev. Wade Martin officiating.
Interment will be in the Brown Cemetery.
