Michael David Ghea, 62, passed away Sunday, January 5.
He was a native of Medford, Oregon and was a resident of Limestone County for over 15 years. Mr. Ghea retired from the United States Army with over 20 years of service to our country.
Michael is survived by his wife, Bobbye R. Ghea of Madison, AL; two daughters, Jennifer Lepore (Jamie) of Hazel Green, and Sarah Ghea of Daleville; three sons, Thomas Michael Ghea (Nicole) of Milton, GA, John Russell Barrett (Loretta) of Athens, AL, and Christopher Ghea (Adrianna) of Merdianville; three brothers, Tim Ghea of Medford, Oregon, Dennis Ghea, and Joe Willard Ghea (Lena) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; sister, Laurie Kerr of Medford, Oregon; aunt, Colleen Thode; cousin, Adam Ghea; one special grandson, Benjamin Barrett; and 17 other grandchildren. He is preceded in death by two sons, David and Brett Ghea.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 9 from 10:00-12:00, with graveside service at 1:00 at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
