Mrs. Shirley Jean Davis, age 75 of Bessemer passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2019 at her residence. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, January 3, 2019 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Goodsprings Church of Christ Cemetery. Brother Crantford Hicks will officiate. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Bell Funeral Home Sumiton has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Roland and Conedith Arnold; husband, Willie Fred Davis; son, Jerry Lee Davis; and grandson, Christopher Ryan Davis.
Her survivors include her son, Chris Davis (Connie) of Talladega; daughter, Anita Franklin (Glenn) of Oak Grove; granddaughters, Kesley Augustine (Cody) of Trussville, Keanna Franklin of Oak Grove, and Keairra Franklin of Oak Grove; grandsons, David Nixon (Truly) of Oak Grove and Cody Franklin of Oak Grove; and a host of other family and friends.
