Wilma McCoy Wood, age 95 of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Harbor Chase Assisted Living.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 30, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Walker Memory Gardens. Carl Uptain will officiate.
Mrs. Wood was preceded in death by her Husband-Carlton Wood, Sr.; Parents-Henry and Parelee Stivener McCoy; Sisters-Fannie Svidish, Bobbie Cunningham and Faye Handley; Brothers-Burl McCoy and Glenn McCoy; Granddaughters-Dara Davis and Leslie Blackwell.
She is survived by her Daughters-Diannia Davis (Joe) and Donna Blackwell (Douglas); Sons-Lynn Wood (Susan), Carlton “Woody” Wood and Barry Wood ( Pat); Sisters-in-law-Ruth McCoy McGinnis and Madge McCoy; Brother-Clayton Riley McCoy (Lucinda); 9 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren; Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren and great grandchildren.
