Funeral for Tommie Faye Murphree, 73, of Trinity will be Thursday, December 26, 2019, at Parkway Funeral Home, at 11:00 AM with Chaplain Richard Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Midway Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home. Mrs. Murphree, who died Sunday, December 22, 2019, at her residence, was born, September 25, 1946, to Thomas Lee Gibson and Flossie Faye Chrisler Gibson. She was saved and baptized at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church in Lawrence County. She loved her home in Gulf Shores where she spent the last 15 years. She enjoyed music, shopping with her girls and Swedish weaving. She loved people and preparing dinner for her family and friends. She was blessed with 54 and a half years with her sweetheart.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

2 brothers – Jerry Gibson, Jim Gibson
Sister – Wanda Wilson
, 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren Pallbearers will be Jonathan Murphree, Wesley Hembree, Jake Hembree, Jonathan Pool, Lucas Horton and Adam Talmage.
