Charles V. Lanza Jr., 82, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday. He was the son of the late Charles V. Lanza Sr. and Lucille Lanza and brother of the late Beverly Lanza Fulton.
Mr. Lanza attended the University of Alabama, and owned Lanza Cigar and Candy Candy for 26 years. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was the owner/broker/realtor of Remax Huntsville for 24 years; co-owner of Prudent Investors; owner/associate broker for Summit Realty from 2010-2012; and broker/realtor for Keller Williams from 2012 until becoming ill.
Survivors include his daughters, Leslie Lanza Albright (Mike), Lenzie Lanza Rook (Paul), and Charley Lanza; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Friday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral will follow in the chapel with the Rev. Mac Buttram officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
