Wahnell Hair Stewart of Adamsville, TN was born January 30, 1936 in McNairy County, TN the daughter of the late Terry Haywood Hair and Sally Pauline Jamerson Hair. She was united in marriage to Elvin Stewart. Mr. Stewart preceded her in death on May 18, 2000.
Mrs. Stewart was a member of the Mars Hill Church of Christ. She retired from Garan Sportswear in Adamsville. Waynell was a very friendly individual and never met a stranger. She was a member of the Lions Club and loved to sew. She departed this life on December 21, 2019 in Selmer, TN at the age of 83 Years, 10 Months, 21 Days.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by two sons, Stanley Keith Stewart and Billy Mark Stewart.
She is survived by three grandchildren, Melissa Stewart and husband Jason Exum, Adam Stewart, Austin Stewart; a grt-grandchild, Tyler Leitschuh; a sister, Glenda Kay Rickman; a daughter-in-law, Becky Stewart Black along with a host of extended family and friends.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or Carl Perkins Center of McNairy County.
