James Hubert Sanders, 90 of Athens, Alabama, died Friday, December 20, 2019 at Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Services will be 2pm Sunday at Spry Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Lamar officiating, burial in Limestone Memorial Gardens, visitation is from 12noon until service Sunday at Spry Funeral Home.
Mr. Sanders was born April 16, 1929 in Kentucky, he was a member of First Baptist Church in Athens and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a retired Truck Driver.
Survivors: Wife: Jeanette Sanders of Athens, Step-Sons: Jeff Lamar and wife Tammy of Athens, Terry Lamar and wife Cathy of Athens and Dwayne Lamar and wife Kristi of Athens; Step-Daughter: Karen Carter and husband Randy of Athens; Ten Step-Grandchildren, Eleven Step-Grandchildren.
