Juanita Beavers Matthews, 91 of Dora, went home to home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday December 12, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was a homemaker and a member of Forestdale Freewill Baptist for over 60 years.
Funeral services will be Saturday Dec. 14, 2019 at 11:00 am in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Mike Cox will officiate. Burial will follow in McCormack Cemetery. Visitation is Saturday from 9:30-11 am.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Delton Matthews; son, Michael Matthews; grandson, Bradley Glaze and her parents, Will and Myrtle Beavers.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice Glaze (Charles); son, Wesley Mathews (Lou); grandchildren, Alan Glaze (Katie), Natalie Hawkins (Jeremy), Kalan Matthews and Tyler Matthews (Lindsey); great grandchildren, Emilee Glaze and Madison Hawkins; sisters, Velma “Tince” Glover, Hazel Parker, Geraldine Drummond and Betty Jett; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
