Charles A. Lands died December 10th, 2019. Charles was born in Skyline, AL in 1941 to the late Arnold and Veda Mayo Lands. He graduated from Section High School (1960) and attended Jacksonville State University. After working in Birmingham and Fort Payne, AL, Indianapolis, IN, and cities throughout Florida, Charles and his wife June Bishop Lands retired to Ponte Vedra Beach, FL. He was predeceased by June (2015) and sisters, LaMerle Williams, Doris Beard, and Peggy Guffey.
Charles is survived by fiancé, Ann M. Douglas of Huntsville; brother, Vaughn Lands; daughter, LeeAnn B. Lands; son, Charles A. Lands, Jr.; and grandchildren, Evan and Shelby.
At Charles’s request, no services will be held.
