Don Nelms, 60, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019 in Clarksville, AR. He was born in Alcorn County, MS on May 16, 1959 and graduated from Corinth High School in 1977. He received his Associates Degree from Northeast Junior College and worked as a surveyor. He had worked for the last 12 years for 4H Construction – Cleveland, MS. Don will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 pm Tuesday, December 10, 2019 and from 12 noon till service time Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Magnolia Funeral Home. A celebration of Don’s life will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories officiated by Bro. Warren Jones. Tate Lancaster will deliver the eulogy. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Don’s memory include his wife: Pam Nelms of Corinth; his daughters: Amber Nelms, Andrea Nelms (Richard Stallard), and Megan Nelms Burcham (Jason) all of Corinth; his grandchildren: Lexie Paige Wilbanks, Ambree Stallard, and Asher Wade Nelms; his brother: Rob Gordon (Deanne) of Booneville, MS; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Tom and Bessie Carter Nelms; his birth mother: Helen Gordon; and his sister: Cammie Mae Nelms.
