Juanita “Josephine” Hoffman Meador, age 94 of the Pine Ridge community, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Meador was born on December 13, 1924 to the late John & Pearl Jackson Hoffman in Detroit, Michigan. She was a member of Word of Faith Church.
Funeral services for Mrs. Meador will be 2 p.m., Friday, December 6, 2019 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Mrs. Meador’s son, Rev. John Meador, and Pastor Michael Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 5, 2019 from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Meador is survived by her children, Nadine Millwood, Nancey McMurtry and husband, Grady, Juanita Fishel, John Meador and wife, Lisa, Michael Meador and Bonnie Haney; grandchildren, David Millwood, Sandra DiAngelo, Wendy Cook, Holly Andrews, Kristin Inot, Rachel Skypek, Christopher Meador, Matthew Meador, Nathaniel Meador, and Andrew Meador; 20 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald Meador in 2004; brothers, J.P. Hoffman, Jr. and Ronnie Hoffman; and grandson, Wesley Fishel.
