JACKSON COUNTY-On Thursday, December 5 the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office issued a release concerning the escape of an inmate from the jail on Wednesday, December 4:
“On Wednesday December 4, 2019 at approximately 3:00 PM, Jericho TIDWELL escaped from a work release detail at Stevenson Park.
TIDWELL had been working this detail for several weeks and was in jail for a Probation Revocation. TIDWELL,, is a White, Male, 5’10” tall, approximately 150 pounds with brown shaved hair, hazel eyes and numerous tatoos including visible tatoos on his neck was last seen around the Stevenson Park wearing standard Orange and White stripped Jail clothes. TIDWELL is pictured with a beard which is now shaved.
Deputies and Stevenson Police responded to the area and attempted to locate TIDWELL but were unsuccessful. A BOLO was placed for surrounding counties and the search is continuing. TIDWELL will face additional escape charges.
