Robert Cleatus Smith 88, of Ardmore, AL died Monday, December 2, 2019 at his home.
Born on Tuesday, August 18, 1931 in Limestone County, AL, he was the son to Pawl Smith and Willa Mae Luna Smith. Cleatus lived in Ardmore, AL all his life. He was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church, and worked all the time.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Colleen Smith.
He is survived by his second wife, Christine Smith, Ardmore, AL; sons, Kent (Janiece) Smith, Ardmore, AL, Jeff Smith, Ardmore, AL; step-son; Eddie (Trish) Shannon, Eva, AL; grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Haley Schrimsher, Amanda Mignogna, Michelle Roe, and A.J. Pepper; great-granchildren; Ruger Ennis, Hunter Roe, Hollis Roe, and Oliver Mignogna.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
The Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, AL, at 1:00 PM with Bro. Lynn Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
