Mr. Charles Danny Rhodes, age 67 of Empire passed away Saturday, November 30, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Liberty Grove Cemetery. Rev. Thurin Gunn will be officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Bell Sumiton Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Glen and Lilian Rhodes.
Survivors include his sons, Trave Rhodes (Liz) and Charles Danny Rhodes Jr. (Rhonda); daughter, L.E. Rhodes; brother, William “Jitter” Bond; grandchildren, Tyler Stanford, Austin Stanford, Estella Rhodes, Charles Rhodes III, Fredico Rhodes, Asa Shipp, Chloe Rhodes and Trave Rhodes Jr.; great grandchildren, Rylynne Stanford and Kenzi Shipp; nephews, Brian Lee Rhodes, James Earl Rhodes, John Rhodes, Carl Rhodes, Eugene Rhodes, Glenn Rhodes, Jeff Rhodes and Timmy Rhodes; niece, Misty Moore; and a host of other relatives and friends.
