Ms. Sallie Henshaw, 82, of Flintville, passed away on Friday.
She worked at Donalson Care Center where she enjoyed housekeeping. She also loved children and took care of a number of them over the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis & Maudie Henshaw, by her brother, Harold Dean Henshaw, and by her sister, Beatrice Byrd.
She is survived by her sons, Jimmy Henshaw and Eddie Cowley, and by her long-time friend, Kathy Gray, her husband James, and their children, Bridgett Vanzant and her husband, Jerome; Stephen Gray and his wife, Elizabeth; Deanna McCormick and her husband, Tim. She is also survived by her beloved friends.
The family is planning a special celebration of life and burial at Pleasant Hill Cemetery at a date to be announced later.
