Owen Thomas “Buck:” Scruggs, age 81 of Bear Creek, Alabama, passed away November 26, 2019 at his residence. He was a retired machinist from Geralds Metals and a member of Bear Creek Community Church.
Visitation is Friday, November 29, 2019 from 12 noon – 2:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Funeral service is at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Guy McDaniel and Randal Foster officiating. Burial in Bear Creek Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Martha Sue Scruggs; daughter, Donna Scruggs Hill and husband Tim; grandchild, Jillian Gillum and a host of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mamie Arnold Scruggs.
