Mary B. Anders , 89, of Owens Cross Roads, passed away Monday.
She was preceded in death by father, Bernie A. Anders; mother, Effie Anna Anders; brother, J.T. Anders; son, Johnny Buford.
Surviving are daughter, Kaethe Buford.
Ms Anders was a Chrysler Corporation retiree and a member of New Salem Baptist Church of Big Cove.
Pallbearers will be Joel Miller Jr., Steven Parker, Don Key, Dalton Tucker, Wes Perkins, and Bradley Lyon. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Larry King, Danny Miller, and Tillman Griggs.
Visitation will be Friday 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home, Friday at 12:00 PM with Michael Shaneyfelt and Bill McElyea officiating.
Interment will be in the Beason Cemetery.
