Funeral service for Richard Story, 79, will be Friday, November 29, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Thomas Elder officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, November 29, 2019 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Story died on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at his residence. He was born July 19, 1940, in Morgan County to James Louis Story and Willie Mae Wynn Story. Richard enjoyed traveling and camping with his wife, watching Nascar, making everyone laugh and fishing with his sons. He was a salesman for Otasco prior to his retirement in 1984. Mr. Story was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James “Jim” Story.
