Joel Lynn Schiltz Mr. Joel Lynn Schiltz, age 77, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at his home in Phil Campbell, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born and raised in Oswego, IL. He enjoyed “The Red Birds”, watching the trains, gardening, spending time with all his friends at the Senior Center, and being able to sneak off to Swamp Johns with Harvey.

The visitation will be from 11:00a.m. -1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Phil Campbell Baptist Church. The memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Phil Campbell Baptist Church. Bro. Terry Buster and Bro. Lowell Walker Jr. will be officiating.

He is preceded in death by his parents Glen George and Ida Mac Butler Schiltz of Oswego, IL; two brothers, Ted Lee Schiltz of Montgomery, IL and Phillip Richard Schiltz of High Point, NC.

He is survived by his wife Rubbie Ann Schiltz, lovingly referred to as his donkey; his daughters, Heidi Michelle (Brad) Crowder of Baldwyn, MS, Annette Lynn (Brad) Kline III of Phil Campbell, AL; grandchildren, Olivie Crowder, Chloe Crowder, John David Crowder, Andy Crowder, John Bradley Kline IV, Jolie Kline, Aerial Kline and Gavin Kline; one brother, Stephen Scott (Faith) Schiltz of Montgomery, IL; two special sister in laws: Donna Schiltz of Montgomery IL and Dianna Schiltz of High Point, NC; and a host of nieces & nephews.

Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
