Mrs. Lois Ann Evans Cutbirth, 76, of Section, died on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Crestwood Hospital. Mrs. Cutbirth was born April 24, 1943 in Scottsboro, AL, but later made her home in Section, AL. She spent many years working in the textile industries until she retired.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Pinehaven Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Cutbirth is survived by her son, Keith (Connie) Evans of Section, AL; grandsons, John (Kim) Evans of Madison, AL and Ryan (Nelly) Evans of Section, AL; great grandchildren, Juliea Evans and Natalee Evans of Section, AL and Peyton Evans and Reagan Evans of Madison, AL; brothers, Donald (Elaine) Thomas and Rodney (Becky) Thomas of Scottsboro, AL; sister, Faye Cupp of Scottsboro, AL; several nieces and nephews that were very special to her and a host of friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Franklin Cutbirth; parents, Frank and Mary Grace Thomas; and a sister, Lynn Thomas.
