Lee Turner, age 92, of Birmingham, AL, formerly of Detroit, AL, passed away Monday, November 11, 2019 in Birmingham, AL.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 1:00pm from the Otts Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Shiloh Cemetery.  Reverend Johnnie Dover to officiate.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home prior to the funeral service from 11:00am until 1:00pm.

 

Nather was born on March 29, 1927 in Sulligent, AL to the late Preston Darnell and the late Annie Hollis.  She was a graduate of Lamar County Training School.  Nather worked on the family farm, Detroit Slacks, and the Lamar County Department of Human Resources.  She was a member of Shiloh CME Church where she was a Sunday school teacher and missionary.  She enjoyed sewing, gardening, and loved flowers.

Howard (Carol) Turner, Kennedy, AL

Daughters: Debra LaBon, Palmdale, CA

Faynita London, Birmingham, AL

Grandchildren: 14

Great Grandchildren: 18

GG Grandchildren: 1
