William Travis Staggs – Age 83 – of Fackler, Al, joined the love of his life, Nina Sue to be with our Heavenly Father. Visitation for Mr. Staggs will be held at Carr Funeral Home on Saturday November 16, 2019 from 10:00 to 12:00(CST) with the funeral to follow. Bro. Paul Connally will be officiating and Carr Funeral Home Directing. Interment will be held at Walls Chapel Cemetery proceeding the visitation and service the evening of the 16th. William Travis Staggs was born in the State of Tennessee, September 17, 1936, the son of James Staggs and Frankie Bell Staggs.
Mr. Staggs is survived by his two sons: Mark Staggs and his wife, Elizabeth, of Loudon,TN and Michael Staggs and his wife DeVone, of Augusta, GA; two daughters Myra Gray and her husband Marshall, of Huntsville, Al and Marie Rehberg and her husband, Bill/William, of Fackler, Al; Five grandchildren: Melissa Gray and her husband Carl Gaston, of Huntsville, Al, Drew Staggs, Montana Staggs, Megan Staggs, and Savanna Hulgan; four great-grandchildren: Gloria Gray, Dalton Gray, Barrett Staggs, Madeline Staggs; one sister: Shirley Pierce. Mr. Staggs was preceded in death by his wife, Nina Sue Staggs.
