Gary Wayne Cooper 66 of Arab passed away Saturday, November 09, 2019 at Shepherds Cove Hospice in Albertville. Wayne as his family and friends called him, enjoyed life and having a great time, he liked camping, fishing, hunting and playing card games. He loved playing softball, his dogs and horses. But he especially loved spending time with his grandbabies. Mr. Cooper is survived by his wife: Carolyn Cooper, Son: Russell Cooper (Kendra), Daughter: Susan Brooks (Heath), Grandchildren: Kayla Price (Chase), Zack Powell, Breanna Powell, Kourtney Cooper, Caitlin Clark, Kaitlyn Brooks and Tyler Brooks. Great Granddaughter: Caselynne Price. Mr. Cooper is preceded in death by his parents: Hollie and Hazel (Bridges) Cooper, and his Brother: Charles Cooper. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Carr Funeral Home from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Carr Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00pm. Rev: Greg Narrell officiating. In lieu pf flowers the family has requested donations may be made to Shepherds Cove Hospice.
