Nellie Joyce Williams Baird,77, of Boaz, AL passed away on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at her residence. Funeral Services will be at 11 AM Friday, November 8, 2019 at Kyuka Missionary Baptist Church with burial to follow in Smith’s Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Reverend Jeremy Burns and Reverend Wayne White will officiate. Pallbearers will be Evin Driver, Zachary Burns, Bobby Holmes, Ben Baird, Bruce McMurtrey, L.W. Tolton. The family will visit with friends Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 6 PM- 8 PM at Albertville Funeral Home Downtown Chapel. Preceded in death by her mother, Lavell Culver Silvers, father, Wilbur Williams, husband, Ernest Ray “Duke” Baird, daughter, Robbie Hilley. She is survived by her daughter, Penny Davis (Mike) of Albertville, AL, son, Jason Baird (Laney Jones) of Boaz, AL, grandchildren, Lauren and Wes Horton of Boaz, AL, Makayla and Evin Driver of Horton, AL, Malorie and Bobby Holmes of Guntersville, AL, Ben Baird of Guntersville, AL, great-grandchildren, Lily Brothers, Tucker Brothers, special friends, Jimmy and Jackie Jenkins, Gary Turner, Linda Lackey, Neil Ellis. Mrs. Baird was a long time member of Kyuka Missionary Baptist Church.
