Funeral Service for Sarah Odette Rusk, age 89, of Baileyton, will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 3, 2019, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home; interment in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Rusk passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019, at her residence. She was born September 29, 1930, to Ulysses and Allie Bartlett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Rusk; grandson, Justin “Judd” Stapler; parents; and brothers, L.D. Bartlett, Donald Bartlett, and Michael Bartlett.
Survivors include her sons, Danny (Paula) Rusk and Doyle (Michelle) Rusk; daughter, Cathy (Tommy) Stapler; grandchildren, Brad (Emily) Stapler, Tammy Parrish, Kelly Rusk, Shane (Jasmine) Rusk, and Kristi (Trent) Moore; sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchilren; sister, Nancy (Dainward) Carroll; and her beloved companion, George the Dog.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 2, 2019, at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
