Mary Ann Allen 68, of Athens,AL passed away October 27, 2019 surrounded by her family as she entered into the gates and into the arms of Jesus. She was a devout Christian, wife, mother, mother-in-law, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.
She is survived by her husband, Sidney Allen of Athens; son, Sid Allen, Jr.(Heather) of North Carolina; daughter; Melissa Gray (Adam) of Toney; brother, James Cooper of Birmingham; sister, Donna Jones (Ronnie) of Missouri; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at Wooley Springs Baptist Church, Toney, Alabama from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. She will lie-in-state on Wednesday from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Wooley Springs Baptist Church, Toney, AL, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Tony Boyles officiating. Burial will be in Gatlin Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
