Lucille Constance Hale, 93, of Haleyville went to be with her Lord and Savior on October 25, 2019. Lucille was born on July 7, 1926, in Marion County, Alabama. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She retired from Haleyville Textile Mill after working there almost 30 years. She was a faithful member of Sunny Home Baptist Church. She loved God, her family, friends, and her home.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 30 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm. at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, Alabama. Services will follow at 1:00 pm. with Brother Ritchie Emerson officiating. Burial will follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery in Haleyville, Alabama.

Lucille is survived by her son, Jimmy Hale; daughter Nelda Wilson and her husband Eugene; and daughter Carol Minerich and her husband Russell. Her grandchildren are Misty Wardlaw, and husband Ron; Matthew Minerich and wife Emily. Her great grandchildren are Halley and Cooper Wardlaw; and Abigail and Jackson Minerich.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady W. Hale; parents Hubert and Rosa Alexander; brothers Roy, Ralph and Hoyle Alexander; sisters Helen Brimer and Irene Hale.

The family would like to extend special thanks and gratitude to the staff of Haleyville Health Care Center for all the love and care Lucille received for the last three years. Also, special thanks and gratitude to all the staff at Amedysis Hospice.

Lucille’s favorite scripture was Psalm 23 which she recited regularly. Verse 6 says: Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord “forever”.
