Hollis B. Brown, 93, died Thursday, October 24, 2019, at Providence Hospital in Mobile, AL.  He was born in Itawamba County, MS to Will and Eliza Jackson Brown.  He had been employed at American Motors and Mueller Brass.  He was a member of Bethel Church of God.

Funeral services will be Monday, October 28, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Murlin Johnson officiating.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery.  Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

He is survived by two children-Linda Palmer (Rusty) of Grand Bay, AL and Steven Brown (Teresa) of Red Bay, AL; four grandchildren-Adam Brown (Sarah), Nicole Brooks (Aaron), Ashley Hunderman (Bill) and Derrick Nichols; eleven great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren and one sister-Carrie Mae Page.

He was preceded in death by his wife Faye Othene Brown; his grandson-Keelon Holder; three brothers-Fred Brown, Arthur Brown and Ernest Brown and three sisters-Gertrude Emerson, Annie Ray Shotts and Evelyn Graben.

Pallbearers will be Derrick Nichols, Austin Scott, Glen Elrod, Logan Holder, Chase Miller and Dreyton Holder.  Honorary pallbearers will be Harold Shotts, Andrew Stone, Edwin Brown, Mack Brown, Gene Brown and Jimmy Brown.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 27, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
