Myrna Jean Hancock, age 79, of LaFayette, Georgia, (formerly of Huntsville) passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019.
Myrna worked for Ivy Cottage for 16 years. She was well liked and known for her light-hearted jokes. She would say her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandson were her greatest achievements.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Darnell; parents, Dortch Perdue and Ruby Vannette Perdue; siblings, Marie Perdue, Bruce Perdue and Mary Marcum.
She is survived by her loving husband of 12 years, Joe Hancock; daughters, Candy Binion (Ernie Glover) and Penny Binion; sons, Jason Binion and Tim Beasley; sister, Margaret Rome; grandchildren, Jessica (Shannon) Foster, Lindsey (Matt) Putnam, Gabrielle Caraballo, Dylan Zehr, Jeremy (Dana) Hillis, Daniel Vaughn, and Chancey Beasley; great grandchildren, Courtney Foster, Lauren Foster, Madison Foster, Bentley Russ, Lucas Putnam, Kaylee Putnam, Austin Hillis, Chase Hillis, and Evie Beasley; great-great grandson, Eli Foster; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Maple Hill Cemetery 203 Maple Hill Drive Huntsville, AL.
