Forrest Dale Mabry, 57, truck driver for Sammy McCandless Trucking, died Thursday, September 26, 2019 in Columbia.
A memorial service will be conducted Thursday at 7:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Pastor Rob Johnson officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 5:00 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Condolences may be extended online at www.oakesandnichols.com.
Born June 23, 1962 in Maury County, he was the son of the late Ernest Paul Mabry and the late Marie Wells Mabry. Mr. Mabry loved being a truck driver, country music and fishing. He was affectionally known as “Grannydaddy Dale”.
Survivors include his son, Wesley Dale Mabry of Columbia; grandchildren, Wesley P. Mabry, Jordan Mabry, Nicholas Mabry, Abel Mabry, Arianna Mabry; sister, Glenda M. (Bill) Wilson of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Anthony Mabry.
