Lambert Ezell Durham Architecture wins the Top Block Award for Florence Middle School Design

FLORENCE-The design for the new Florence Middle School by Lambert Ezell Durham Architecture, LLC was awarded the “2019 Top Block Design Award” by the Alabama Concrete Industries Association at the 2019 North Alabama Chapter of the American Institute of Architects Design Awards. In association with the North Alabama Chapter of the AIA, one project is awarded each year to receive the award. The award is given to a project of distinguished design whose primary building material in concrete block. John Sorrell, President of the Association, while presenting the award commented that the Florence Middle School’s design is timeless and that in the next ten or twenty years would still look great and not feel dated.
