Mrs. Fay Thomas, 90, of Scottsboro, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Scottsboro Funeral Home with Rev. Dennis Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Thomas is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Jim Ed) Goins of Hollywood, Linda (Richard) Sartin of Scottsboro, Carolyn (Mark) Hooper of Aspel, and Lisa (Chuck) Chisenall of Scottsboro; sons, Charles (Jimmie Sue) Thomas of Roswell, GA and Paul Thomas of Scottsboro; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sisters, Shirley Hershey of St. Augustine, FL and Sue Collins of Scottsboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, G.W. Thomas; two sons, Jerry Donald Thomas and Gary Wayne Thomas; parents, Bault and Lillie Collins; 4 sisters; 1 brother; and a daughter in law.
