Verna Joyce Cofield, age 75, of Phil Campbell, passed away on Friday, August 30, 2019 at Russellville Hospital.
Mrs. Cofield was a strong woman, who loved her family dearly and leaves her family many wonderful memories. She loved to cook and work in her flowers, and loved being with her beloved dogs, Pippi and Half-Pint.
The visitation will be 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 03, 2019 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Bro. Sammy Taylor officiating. Burial will be at Shady Grove Cemetery.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Donna Cantrell, Rosemary Bell (husband, Timothy), Kimberly Farley (husband, Paul), Hugh Don Cofield (wife, Christy); grandchildren, Christopher Crews, Jerrid Bell, Elisha Bell, Andrew Parker, Monica Albright, Matthew Parker, Brandie Cofield, Sarah Cofield; 11 great-grandchildren; daughters, Shirley Doyle, Sharon Jennings; brother, Bud Kahl; and several nieces & nephews; and her beloved dogs, Pippi and Half-Pint.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Hugh Don Cofield; great-granddaughter, Breanna Allred; parents, Vernon & Edna Kahl; and sister, Jennifer Forrest.
The pallbearers will be Paul Farley, Tim Bell, Jerrid Bell, TJ Albright, Tim Farley, Jeff Forrest, and Dennis Forrest.
Spry Memorial Chapel assisted the family.
