Jimmy A. Hudson, 81, of Huntsville, passed away Sunday. Mr. Hudson retired from the U.S. Army Missile Defense Command after 21 years and 8 months. He then worked civil service for 25 years and was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Nancy Hudson; sons, James Hudson and Sean Hudson; daughters, Mary Hudson, Sally Hudson, and Sherry Freeman (Steven); brothers, Silas Hudson (Betty) and Herman Hudson (Ruby); sister, Mary Pugh; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Father Tim Pfander officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors or the Alzheimer’s Association.
