Tommie J. Fields, 82, of Gurley, passed away Sunday.
Mrs. Fields retired from Redstone Arsenal after 32 years of service.
She was preceded in death by father, Cully H. Ford, mother, Carolyn O’Rear Harrell and sister, Sandra Spark.
Surviving are husband, Harry N. Fields, daughter, Debbie Fields West (Ray), son, Gary W. Fields (Karla), grandchildren, Heather Fields Johnson (Luke), David Brinda (Sonya), Harrison W. Fields (Brittnie), Landon Fields, Sidney Fields and Stanton Fields, great grandchildren, Katelyn, Leelan, Theo, Dosson and ?, sister, Ann Cole, brother, Buddy Ford (Mary Ann).
Pallbearers will be Gary Fields, Ray West, Harrison Fields, Landon Fields, Stanton Fields and Cale Cole, Honorary Pallbearers will be Wayne Hobbs, Gerald Higdon, Jim Harrington, Tim Hendrix and Brad Spivey.
Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, Wednesday at 3:00 pm with Bro. Keith Hodges and Bro. Steve Parker officiating.
Interment will be in the Collier Cemetery.
