Jerry W. Long, Jr., 56, of Tishomingo, MS, passed away on August 2, 2019 at his residence. He enjoyed fixing things, guns, collecting coins, and cooking. He also enjoyed playing the keyboard and listening to music. He was an avid Star Trek fan and enjoyed being with his family. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, August 9, at Tishomingo Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Rusty Fair. Visitation is scheduled for one hour prior to service time at the church on Friday. He was survived by his step-mother, Eleanor Long; his daughters, Stephanie Hotle (Tony) and Jessica Dixon (Blake); his sister, Janet Cornelison (Chris); his brothers, Ronnie Long (Susan), Ricky Long (Jill), and Chris Buford; his grandchild, Mariana Dixon; his nieces and nephews, Molly Mathis (Cory), Owen Mathis, Maggie Long, Madelyn Long, Emily Cunningham (David), Alex Cornelison, and Megan Cornelison; and his aunts, uncles, and cousins, Patty and Paul Gattuso, Jerry and Callie Gattuso, Dylan Gattuso, Michael Gattuso, and Quinton Gattuso. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Wayne Long, Sr. and Jean Carolyn Jones Odam; and his grandparents, Guy and Mary Long. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements.
