Dennis Calvin Carroll, age 72, a resident of Lawrenceburg, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at home.
A memorial service for Mr. Carroll will be held at a later date. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
Born November 10, 1946 in Lewis County, he was the son of the late Herbert and Pauline Pollock Carroll and husband of Frankie Ann Tibbs Carroll. He worked in the logging industry and loved to hunt coon and deer. He enjoyed being outdoors and gardening. Calvin and Ann just celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary.
In addition to his long loving wife, he is survived by his son: Thomas Calvin (Tina) Carroll of Crossville; his three daughters: Teresa Hughes of Hohenwald, Carolyn Garrett of Linden and Connie ( Danny) Bowman of Centerville; brother: Donald (Dorothy) Crowell of Hohenwald; sisters: Judy (Bob) Brewer, Ann Oliver and Brenda (Randy) Buie, all of Hohenwald; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Annette Patton Carroll; brothers: Malcom Crowell and Jimmy Carroll.
