Truman “Pete” Wendell Lauderdale, 48, of Haleyville entered into rest Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Lakeland Community Hospital.
Mr. Lauderdale was born November 26, 1963 in Mt. Dora, Florida. He attended Bear Creek School. Truman worked at Grand Tubes and as a auto body technician. He loved to fish. Several people also knew Truman as “Pete” or “Pedro”.
Visitation will be Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 11am-2pm at Nichols Funeral Home in Haleyville, were services will be held at 2pm.
Truman is survived by his son, Justin Lauderdale; daughter, Samantha (Michael) Parker; grandchild, Nicholas Parker; brothers, Ronnie (Genive) Hood, Dennis (Pauline) Hood, Danny (Carolyn) Hood; sister, Diann Sizemore; and a special fishing buddy, Rod Pendley
He was preceded in death by his father Truman Wayne Lauderdale and mother Dorthy Belle Vickery.
