Mrs. Gertrude “Granny” Sims age 80 of Horton, passed away at her home Saturday, July 20, 2019. A visitation will be held Monday, July 22, 2019, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home, the funeral service will be Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at 2:00 pm in the chapel, burial will follow at Pleasant Hill #2 in the Sims Community. She is survived by daughters; Joyce Simmons, Sandra Lewis, sons; Mark (Melissa) Sims, Michael (JoAnn) Sims, grandchildren; Katara (Brandon) Lane, Korey (Cassidy) Simmons, Cassy White, Mason (Kindra) Sims, Austin Sims, Makayla Sims, 9 Great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents; Rob & Jessie Guyton, husband; Bobby Doyle Sims, sister; Sue Sampson, brothers Alford Pack, Junior Guyton.
