She is survived by two daughters Lynn Love Cummings (Hugh), and Lisa Mathis
(Larry); six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren;and daughter-in-law Karen Love.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Hayden Love, Sr., two sons
Thomas Hayden Love, Jr. and Glenn Michael Love.
Mrs. Love retired from the Huntsville City School System after teaching for 23 years at
Butler High School. She was actively involved with Alpha Delta Kappa International
Society for Women Educators and was a member of University Baptist Church.
There will be a graveside service on Wednesday, July 24, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. at Maple
Hill Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Burt officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to University Baptist Church.
The family wishes to express a special thank you to her caregivers Elaine, Bessie, Shirley and Scarlet.
