Jesse Boyd Dale Bellamy, 21, of Owens Cross Roads, passed away Thursday. Jesse went to Huntsville High School where he played football for two years. He worked as a cook at Branding Iron Steakhouse. He loved to sing and dance with his nephew, BrantLee, and enjoyed fishing, camping and hiking. As a Boy Scout, he earned the Life Badge. Jesse always had a listening ear, put others above himself, and was loving and kind.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary Filipiak, and Wanda and Johnny Ridinger. Survivors include his adoptive parents, Jerry and Linda Bellamy; biological parents, Chris and Stacey Ridinger; siblings, MaRhea Wood, Christopher Ridinger, and JerriLin Bellamy; nieces and nephews, BrantLee Carter, and Kenzie, Kaysen and Silas Ridinger; step-sister, Chloe Green; and several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, July 22 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Hampton Cove Cemetery.
