Barbara Jean Kimsey Long passed from this life into eternal life July 9. Her celebration service and visitation with the family will be held July 21 at Mt. Chapel church in Blount County from 3- 5 pm. Formerly of Dawson, her survivors include daughter Donna (Jim) Conner and Patricia (John) Huie, 5 grandchildren and 2 brothers, Jim (Vera) Kimsey and Charles (Donna) Kimsey. She was predeceased by her parents, Garland and Audie Kimsey and husband, R.S. “Shorty” Long.
