It is with great sadness that the family of Jonathan Carl “Budrow” Givens, announce his passing on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the age of 33. Jonathan was a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. As a little boy, he loved playing outside in the dirt, fishing and anything outdoors. As an adult, he enjoyed doing these things with his children. He was a hard worker that was known for leading by example. He loved riding his motorcycle and was the leader of the Rocket Riders and was also a member of the Jack Aces Motorcycle club. He loved Bud Light and was lovingly known as “Budrow” to his friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Earlie Carden, Betty Lee and Thelbert Givens. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Melanda Jones Givens, children: Madison Pirkle, Cailee Givens and Hunter Givens; his mother, Gail Carden; father, Carl (Connie) Givens; grandmother, Linda Neese; sisters Amanda (Danny) Shuford, Mindy Dobbs, Carla Givens, Renea (Steve) Stricklin and Jessica Givens; brothers: Landon (Amber) Jones, Dustin (Brooke) Jones and Clint (Jordan) Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. His family will receive friends at Moss Service Funeral Home on Monday, July 15, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be in the chapel of Moss Service on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Burial will immediately follow at Good Hope Cemetery. Serving as his pallbearers will be his friends: Austin White, Cody Edmonson, Nathan Purdy, Dakota Scott, David Guthery and John Bray. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family.
