James Ricky Helton, age 62 went to be with the Lord on July 3, 2019.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years Jean Helton; two daughters Kelly Helton Thornton (J.T.), and Brittany Helton; two grandchildren Zackary Thornton and Matthew Thornton; four sisters Cathy Durham (Ray), Donna Watson (Opie), Sharon Gurley (Chris), and Karen Lester (Skye); brother-in-law Ted Stolz; three nephews; and four nieces.
Mr. Helton was preceded in death by his grandson Jonathan Thornton and his parents James and Dora Helton.
He was owner and operator of Helton Heating and Cooling.
Visitation is Sunday, July 7, 2019, 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. The funeral is Monday, July 8, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Hal Howard. Burial will follow in Valhalla Cemetery.
