James Henry Donnelly
November 7, 1936 – July 3, 2019

Born and raised in White Plains, New York, Mr. Donnelly proudly served in the United States Air Force, and he was employed by various defense contractors and Redstone Arsenal. During this time, he achieved a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Engineering, a universities highest achievement. In 1997, he retired from Redstone Arsenal to pursue his broad range of hobbies including carpentry, motorcycles, music, foreign languages, and world travel. His greatest accomplishments were his devotion to his wife of 63 years, 2 children, and his silent generosity to help those in need and less fortunate. Mr. Donnelly is survived by his wife Elizabeth Donnelly of Madison, Alabama, daughter Elizabeth Smith of Athens, Alabama, grandchildren Michael Beaver of Washington, D.C., and Kia Noble of Huntsville, Alabama, and son James Donnelly of Cape Canaveral, Florida.
