Doris was born on July 17, 1932, in Lamar County, Alabama, to the late Ruby Mae Humphreys and Ohlen Vance Nethery. She attended Bedford School and Lamar County High School. Doris worked at Gattman Sportswear and Hatley Garment Plant. She enjoyed sewing, working with flowers, and being a housewife.
Died: Monday, June 24, 2019, at Diversicare Nursing Home in Winfield, Alabama.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 27, 2019, at the Otts Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial: Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Shake Rag Road, Lamar County, Alabama.
