Cathy Rhoades Garrard, age 67, of Boaz, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Shepherds Cove Hospice.
Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2019 at Concord Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Lynn Darnell , Rev. Brad Edmondson and Sister Sue Herron will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Don Corbin, Donald Wiggins, Dale Turley, Drew Noles, Darrell Jones, Collin Bonneau, Brody Darnell, Hayden Darnell and Garrett Garrard.
Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 until 8 at the funeral home.
She is survived by her children, Dustin and Paula Garrard and Lori and Lynn Darnell, grandchildren, Samantha and Garrett Garrard, Caitlyn, Brody and Hayden Darnell, brothers and sisters, Cynthia Wiggins (Donald), Mary Gilmore, Steve Rhoades (Judy), Carl Rhoades (Kim) and Sherry Snider, several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Garrard is preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Garrard and her parents, Bennett and Lucille Rhoades.
