Funeral service for Charles Calvin Balcom, 86, will be Friday, June 28, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Hartselle Church of Christ with Phillip Hines officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, Arkansas. Visitation will be Friday, June 28, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hartselle Church of Christ.
Mr. Balcom died on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at Summerford Nursing Home. He was born November 12, 1932, in Poinsett County, Arkansas to Tom Lester Balcom and Pearl Eltha Lee Balcom. He served for many years as a Church of Christ Minister in churches located in St. Joseph, MO, Sandusky, OH, Flint, MI, Howenwald,TN, Hartselle, AL, Benton, AR, Hatton, AL and Haleyville, AL.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother: Lester Merle Balcom, a son: Daniel Ray Balcom and a daughter: Kerrie Balcom Martin.
